How we rate

Every casino on MapleCasinoCanada is scored the same way: hands-on, against a fixed checklist, and updated as things change. Here is exactly how we rate.

We test before we rank

We don’t grade casinos from a press kit. Where possible we register an account, make a real deposit, claim the welcome bonus and request a withdrawal — so payout times and friction come from experience, not marketing copy.

What goes into the score

Our 0–10 rating is built from five weighted areas:

  • Payout speed (30%) — how fast and how reliably winnings reach you, especially via Interac e-Transfer, iDebit and Instadebit.
  • Bonus value (25%) — real value after wagering requirements, game weightings, max-bet rules and time limits — not just the headline number.
  • Game library (20%) — breadth and quality of slots, live casino and crash games, and the providers behind them.
  • Licence & safety (15%) — provincial or recognized international licensing, audited RNGs, encryption and a fair complaints record.
  • Support (10%) — availability, response time and whether agents actually resolve issues, including in French where offered.

Licence-first

Gambling in Canada is regulated province by province (for example AGCO/iGaming Ontario, Loto-Québec and BCLC). In each review we state which regulation applies and who can legally play, so you know where a casino stands where you live.

Bonuses without the fine print tricks

We read the terms so you don’t have to. A bonus only scores well if the wagering requirement, eligible games, maximum bet and expiry leave a realistic chance of withdrawing. We always show the key terms next to the offer.

We keep reviews current

Operators change bonuses, payment methods and ownership. We revisit reviews periodically and after major changes, and note when each was last checked. If you spot something out of date, tell us on the contact page.

Independence

We may earn a commission when you sign up through our links, but commercial relationships never influence a score or ranking. Ratings are editorial and based only on the criteria above.
